My hair is brown
Can lemon really lighten your hair?
your hair will definitely go blonde with lemon juice but will be perfectly safe...
Can lemon really lighten your hair?
using lemons only helps lighten blonde hair after it goes dull n weird again but im sure it might work with brown hair too

hope i helped! :)
Reply:if you want your hair lighter, then take lemon juice and water and put it in your hair. if you want darker hair, then cranberry juice and water works wonders! hope that helped! have fun!

Reply:well i dont no how to make the dye, but the juice in the lemons, have a certain acid, that can bleach your hari to a fairly light color

i hope it turns of good!

good luck!
Reply:yes or you can get stuff in stor you spay in and you can use sun or blowdryer
Reply:why not just go and get professional highlights, its much more even, and will look better. I%26#039;ve seen several kids use lemons, most regret it and it doesnt work all that great. I%26#039;ve actually seen it turn brunettes to an orange-ish tone.
Reply:it doess :DD i tried it but it doesnt work too well if ur hair is super dark [im a redhead]. You have to do it more than once and spend all day in the sun. If you put ur hair in a ponytail it gets lighter faster but just on the top mostly. And my hair stayed light until into the winter.
Reply:Yes, it will slightly lighten it. I have dark blonde hair. I have used lemon juice and a John Freida product years ago that had lemon juice and bits of lemon in it and it worked as well. If your hair is brown, it may be a very subtle change. But it should lighten up.
Reply:Yes you can get alittle lighter with lemon. But remember to use good products to keep conditioned. If you live where there is sunshine your lucky....It well say light for awhile but be careful with your decision. Its kinds drying to do this method.
Reply:yea
Reply:it will if you lay in the sun for a while and squezze lemon juice in your hair. it%26#039;s permanent, but perfectly safe. it makes thin but a lot of highlights, so if you want big ones, i would just get them done
Reply:Don%26#039;t use it - I have brown hair, and it will turn orange!!! I have used juice from lemons, lemon juice in a bottle, and even the spary. Go to a professional - don%26#039;t be hard headed like I was, I made a terrible mistake and my hair looked terrible. If your hair is light brown, then you can use it - but if it%26#039;s a darker brown - forget it.
Reply:It looks kind of icky when its on but it gives you AMAZING highlights. I put them in for my friend and her caramel hair looked professionally highlighted. You might need a friend to help you.

Mix 1 cup of Suave Daily Clarifying Conditioner or any conditoneer with 1 tbsp of lemon juice and spoon it onto your hairline. Use a fien tooth comb and brush it through all of your hair covering the entire top layer. If you just put it at the top it will look trashy. Sit in the sun where it can get to your hair for at least an hour and a half, then wash out with clean water.

Dont try wash it out in the ocean.

I%26#039;d probably reccomend doing it at your house and tanning on the deck, because the beach really isnt convienent for it if you want it the best way:]
Reply:YEP!!!
