It won%26#039;t ruin your hair.. I%26#039;ve been highlighting and low lighting for years. Just go to a salon, don%26#039;t try to do it yourself. Highlights lighten your hair, and lowlights darken your hair. A highlight would be getting blonde, whereas a lowlight would be getting a dark blonde or brown.

low lights are the same as highlights but a darker shade of your hair color. they are the opposite of highlights. i have highlights and lowlight in my hair and it is also 2toned. it look amazing and everyone loves it. im 14 and my hairs fine. no problems or anything. it didnt wreck it at all! it just looks better! you can also dye it back or get the color decreased if you dont like it.. its something i would highly suggest though!

Reply:for the low lights part idk sorry but for the whole highlight situation if u get them done at a good local salon with a good reputation u shouldn%26#039;t have to worry about it being messed up or ruining your hair but getting highlights does involve chemicals
